Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Taizi website, services, home visits, and service office interactions. By accessing our website, booking a slot, or availing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. About Taizi

Taizi is a custom tailoring service offering made-to-measure garments through home visits and a service office. Taizi does not operate a retail showroom. Stitching and operations are managed through a warehouse facility with restricted access.


2. Eligibility

By using Taizi’s services, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.


3. Service Scope

Taizi provides:

  • Custom stitching and tailoring services

  • Home measurement visits

  • Designer recreation based on customer-provided references

  • Alterations for fit-related issues

  • Delivery through third-party courier partners

All garments are stitched based on customer measurements, fabric selection, and approved customisations.


4. Bookings and Appointments

Slot booking confirms a request for service and does not constitute order confirmation. Orders are confirmed only after measurements are completed and the advance payment is collected.

Customers are responsible for being available at the scheduled time. Missed appointments may result in rescheduling subject to availability.


5. Pricing and Payments

5.1 Pricing

  • All stitching prices displayed on the website are fixed.

  • Fabric prices vary based on selection and are charged separately.

  • Optional customisations are chargeable and communicated during measurement.

There are no hidden charges.

5.2 Payments

  • Fifty percent advance is collected after measurements are taken.

  • The remaining balance is payable after the garment is ready and before dispatch or pickup.

  • Cash on Delivery is not available.

  • Delivery is charged at a flat rate of ₹95 per order per address.

Taizi reserves the right to withhold dispatch until full payment is received.


6. Fabric Responsibility

Customers may provide their own fabric or purchase fabric through Taizi.

If customer-provided fabric is insufficient, defective, or unsuitable, photographic proof will be shared before stitching. If stitching cannot proceed, a ₹120 tailor travelling charge applies.

If fabric is damaged during stitching due to Taizi’s handling, Taizi will either remake the garment using similar fabric or refund the fabric cost at a market rate determined solely by Taizi.


7. Timelines

Taizi stitches garments within seventy-two working hours, excluding Sundays and public holidays. Delivery is scheduled the following day.

Designer wear, handwork, and bulk orders may require extended timelines, which will be communicated in advance.


8. Alterations

Free alterations are provided only for genuine fit-related issues reported within two days of delivery.

Design changes, personal preferences, or changes in body measurements after stitching are not covered and may be chargeable.


9. Cancellations and Refunds

Advance payments are refundable only if the order is cancelled within four hours of measurement.

Once stitching has commenced, advances become non-refundable.

No returns are accepted for custom-stitched garments. Refunds are governed strictly by the Return & Refund Policy.


10. Delivery and Risk

Delivery is handled by third-party courier partners.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon dispatch. Taizi will assist in resolving courier-related issues but shall not be liable for delays beyond its control.


11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, images, logos, and materials are the property of Taizi and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.


12. Customer Conduct

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Cooperate during measurement and alteration visits

  • Treat Taizi staff and tailors with respect

Taizi reserves the right to refuse service in cases of misconduct, misuse, or abuse.


13. Limitation of Liability

Taizi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service.


14. Force Majeure

Taizi shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or logistical disruptions.


15. Modifications to Services and Terms

Taizi reserves the right to modify services, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on the website and apply prospectively.


16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
