Frequently asked questions
How does the Taizi process work?
Once you book a slot, our tailor visits your address at the scheduled time, takes detailed measurements, discusses customisations, and collects fabric if required. Stitching begins after measurements are completed. Your outfit is stitched within 72 working hours (excluding Sundays and public holidays), quality-checked, and then dispatched.
Is there any delivery charge?
Yes. We charge a flat delivery fee of ₹95 per order, per address.
If multiple garments or multiple people place orders from the same address, the delivery charge is still ₹95 in total, not per person or per outfit.
Do I need to pay anything online while booking?
No. There is no online payment at the time of booking. You pay 50% advance in cash only when the tailor visits and takes your measurements.
Do you have a showroom or retail shop?
Taizi does not operate a traditional showroom or retail shop.We have a warehouse in Kurla, where stitching and operations are managed.
For safety and operational reasons, warehouse entry is restricted.
However, customers are welcome to visit our service office in Kurla West (Halav Pool, near M2J Gym)
Are there any Hidden Charges?
All stitching prices shown on the website are fixed. There are no hidden charges.
The final amount may vary only in two cases:
- Optional customisations (initials, special cuffs, piping, etc.) clearly explained by the tailor during measurement.
- Fabric selection fabric is charged separately and depends on your choice. Our fabric range starts from ₹195 to ₹950 per meter.
Do you offer trial at delivery?
No. Delivery is done via courier, so there is no trial at the time of delivery.
However, once you receive the outfit:
- Try it on.
- If there is a fitting issue, send us photos highlighting the problem within 2 days.
- Our tailor will visit again within 48 hours, re-take measurements, and make corrections.
Are alterations free?
Yes. Alterations are free for fitting issues, provided:
- The issue is reported within 2 days of receiving the outfit.
- The concern is related to fit, not personal style preference.
Design or preference changes may be chargeable.
Do you accept bulk or wedding orders?
Yes. We accept bulk, wedding, and corporate orders.
Process and timelines are shared upfront based on order size.
Can I use my own fabric?
Yes, absolutely. You may provide your own fabric.
Before stitching:
- We check the fabric for defects or shortages.
- If we notice any issue, we share photos with you before proceeding.
If the fabric is insufficient or unsuitable and stitching cannot proceed:
- A ₹120 tailor travelling charge applies.
- Fabric pickup must be arranged by the customer.
Do you provide designs?
We don’t keep ready-made designs.
Send us a photo or video of the design you like, and we’ll stitch it for you.
